Teacher Appreciation Day

September 21, 2020

Please help us show our appreciation for BCMS teachers and staff during this challenging school year.  We will be providing coffee and donuts to the staff this Friday, September 25 to welcome them back and and thank them for getting the year off to a great start. Please consider donating Dunkin Donuts gift cards to help the PTO fund this treat.  Any amount will be greatly appreciated!

Gift cards can be purchased online here and emailed directly to the PTO at ptobcms@gmail.com.  Alternatively, physical gift cards in any amount (even partially used ones!) can be sent into the main office in an envelope marked "PTO Staff Appreciation".

We will be purchasing food from our locally owned Dunkin Donuts business. Please purchase or bring in gifts cards by Thursday, September 24th.

Daily COVID Screenings

September 8, 2020

All BCMS families whose students will be returning to the school buildings will begin receiving, via email, a required daily screening for their students that must be completed every morning before school.

Parents and guardians of students who have chosen virtual learning will not receive the daily survey for those students. However, all other families will receive the screening via email each day. It is important that the screening becomes a daily morning routine. To ensure that routine, families of students in grades 7-12 who will be attending school on an alternating “A” and “B” day schedule will be asked to complete the survey every day, even on days when students are not scheduled to be at school in person.

BCMS Transportation Update

September 8, 2020

More than 85% of students will be heading back to the classrooms the week of September 14. Whether students are walking, taking the bus, driving or being driven to school, families will want to review some of the important information regarding transportation and the return to school. A transportation safety video and some of the most frequently asked questions about transportation can be found HERE

BCMS School Supply List
August 14, 2020

The BCMS School Supply list for 6-8 graders has been released. The items have been drastically scaled back because students will not be using either their hallway or their Phys Ed lockers this year, so the list anticipates the demands of carrying things like lunches, water bottles, and being prepared to carry all supplies with them throughout their day.
